Anxiety

I, me, my, oh my 🙁 My choice, my potential, my education, my future, my time, my work, my security, all these things seem to be the prevailing motivation in this life. Most of these things have a monetary and tomorrow aspect to them, most of these things are what I strive for every day. No wonder I am anxious. It’s all about I, me, my. Why? God did not design us to function in an “all about me mode.” Really God? It’s not all about me? No, it is not! Proverbs 3:5-7 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and turn away from evil.” Lord, help me trust in You, not in myself.

I love You God. I trust You God. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Thank You God.
