Growth

I don’t think I would be a good farmer — I may be too impatient. I don’t want to wait for the weeks or months it takes for broccoli to grow. 😉 I want my broccoli and I want it now. However, I appreciate the process. Slowly over time, a dry, dead-looking seed placed in favorable soil given consistent daily access to water and sunlight grows into an amazing plant that is able to provide nourishment to those willing to eat. I have noticed that also about God’s Word. Those who consistently, daily nourish themselves in these living waters are able to provide food for those willing to eat. Lord God, thank You for the nourishment of Your Word, help me drink deeply on a consistent, daily basis, able to feed others.

I love You God. I trust You God. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Thank You God.
